Edith Cohen-Gewerc or of her artist's name Edith, born in Paris, will develop her activity on three continents. Barely a teenager, she arrived in Rio de Janeiro where she undertakes solid studies of plastic art in the framework of the Escola de Belas Artes of the city.

In the sixties she arrived with her parents to Israel and since then has dedicated herself to her painting.

The colors of her new environment will very quickly combine with her personal inspiration marked by her attraction to light in harmony with a palette rich in colors.

Far from the artistic currents denouncing the degradation of our physical environment, Edith chooses to devote herself to her inner landscapes where her process of overcoming and elevation in search of human dignity in all its physical and spiritual dimensions is realized, and she invites us to accompany her. Edith finds her inspiration in the process of conscious evolution advocated by Logosophy.
